Costa Rican Independence Day was on September 15th. All the schools march in the desfiles (parade). The students play music, and they have dancers and flag people.  And all the uncoordinated kids who can’t dance, play music, or hold a flag have to be “water boys/girls.” Poor kids. We got to watch Dani play the drums. It was cute. He looked so proud.
