So today is Costa Rica Independence Day. Don’t ask me what the quote means because I don’t know. I also don’t know who Don Pepe is. Amy and I went into town and watched the big desfila (parade). It was cute. All the schools in Heredia march in the parade. They all have bands and dancers. Our dueños son, Dani, was playing the drums. It was funny. He looked so proud to be in the parade and his face lit up when he saw us and he started playing harder.  The parade went up and down the 2 main roads that run next to the central park. They also had these people wearing these enormous heads. I wish I had taken a picture of these guys. The were really freaky. Anyway....be sure to check out the pics in the PICkibbin section.
